Feeding Your Worms
Worms eat more than their weight each day. As a general rule, one pound of worms needs at least one pound of food source daily. Proper nutrition is key to maintaining your
worm bin.
Green Leaf Worm Farm recommends using a base of 18 inches of peat moss, corrugated cardboard, and shredded paper. Corrugated cardboard provides good habitat for raising worms. Because they believe worms need diversity in their diet to produce higher-quality nutrient-rich vermicompost, they feed their worms the following items.
